US: Colin Kaepernick says he has perceived death threats

San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback Colin Kaepernick says that he has perceived death threats over his refusal to mount for the US inhabitant anthem as the killing of an unarmed black man in Oklahoma sparked new open outrage.

The 28-year-old football star says he is protesting secular inequality and misapplication in the United States, including the actions of law coercion towards minorities.

Kaepernick told reporters on Tuesday that he had perceived death threats, including by social media, given starting his protest.

“If something like that were to happen, you’ve valid my point”, pronounced Kaepernick when asked about the probability of the threats being acted upon.


“It’ll be shrill and transparent because it happened,” he said.

The quarterback pronounced that he had expected the recoil before he embarked on his protest.

“I knew there were other things that came along with this when we first stood up and spoke about it. It’s not something we haven’t suspicion about,” he said.

Kaepernick pronounced the killing on Friday of 40-year-old Terence Crutcher by police in Tulsa was emblematic of the issues  he is protesting against.

“This is a ideal instance of what this is about,” Kaepernick told reporters.

“It will be very revelation about what happens to the officer that killed him. They shot and killed a man and walked around like it wasn’t a human being,” he added.

Meanwhile, former Seattle Seahawks using back Marshawn Lynch showed support for Kaepernick’s criticism on Conan O’Brien’s late night speak show on Tuesday.

“With what’s going on, I’d rather see him take a knee than mount up,” he pronounced during an coming on the show.

Kaepernick also won subsidy from 49ers fable Jerry Rice, who had primarily criticised the quarterback’s protests.

Kaepernick pronounced that he plans to start a website shortly to lane a concession of $1m he will make to organisations ancillary the means of secular equality.
