U.S. Ambassador to Panama Resigns in Disgust with the Trump Administration

John D. Feeley, The United States envoy to Panama, announced his abdication on Friday observant he “can no longer offer under the Trump Administration,” Reuters reports.

In his abdication letter, Feeley wrote: “As a youth unfamiliar service officer, we sealed an promise to offer steadily the boss and his administration in an apolitical fashion, even when we competence not determine with certain policies. My instructors done transparent that if we believed we could not do that, we would be respect firm to resign. That time has come.”

Feeley was nominated by former boss Barack Obama and was sworn in on Jan 15, 2016. The State Department reliable his departure, saying the career diplomat opted to “retire for personal reasons, as of 9 Mar this year.”

According to the US Embassy’s website, Feeley’s decision was done before Donald Trump on Thursday reportedly ranted against immigrants coming to the United States from “sh*thole” countries—remarks which have garnered intense bipartisan criticism, despite the president’s half-baked denial.
