In a overwhelming domestic move, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) expelled the entire transcript of congressional investigators’ talk with Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson during Aug of 2017. Simpson was interviewed about his organization’s work in compiling the dossier that accused President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign of colluding with Russia.
Republicans leaders had refused to recover the transcript, despite calls from Simpson for it to be done public.
“After speaking with infancy and minority cabinet staff for 10 hours, Glenn Simpson requested the twin of his talk be expelled publicly. The American people merit the event to see what he pronounced and judge for themselves,” Feinstein pronounced in a matter Tuesday. “The innuendo and misinformation present about the twin are partial of a deeply discouraging bid to criticise the review into intensity collusion and deterrent of justice. The only way to set the record true is to make the twin public.”
Fusion GPS commended Feinstein for her “courage” as a spokesperson for Judiciary Committee management Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA) claimed that the uneven decision exceeded her authority.
