In a Thursday night talk with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, a Republican congressman from Pennsylvania claimed he has “evidence” that suggests the Islamic State is obliged for the deadly sharpened in Las Vegas last October.
“I smell a rodent like a lot of Americans do,” Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) told Carlson.
“Recently, we have been made wakeful of what we believe to be convincing evidence, credible information regarding potential terrorist infiltration through the southern border regarding this incident,” the congressman told the Fox News host.
“Terrorists?” Carlson asked with his evil demeanour of surprise.
“Twice before the attack, ISIS warned the United States that they would attack Las Vegas in Jun and August, and after the attack claimed shortcoming four times,” Perry claimed. “Meanwhile, the internal law enforcement investigative services are revelation us there is no terrorist connection, sole gunman, again, something is not adding up.”
The Islamic State, it should be noted, has often claimed shortcoming for attacks it had zero to do with — a common tactic used by militant groups to make themselves seem all the some-more convincing and terrifying.
