Reg Cathey, 1958-2018. Not only a fine, dictatorial actor — but simply one of the many pleasant human beings with whom we ever shared some prolonged days on set. On wit alone, he could double any man over and leave him thinking. Reg, your memory is a good blessing.

According to TMZ, the actor upheld divided at his home in New York, surrounded by friends and family, adding that he had been struggling with lung cancer in the last years of his life.
