Privacy Alert: HP Quietly Installs System-Slowing Spyware On Its PCs Without Consent

The software, which was first identified on Nov 15 of this year, is called “HP Touchpoint Analytics Service” and appears to reinstate the self-managed HP Touchpoint Manager solution. According to the central capability description, it facilities “the collection you need to safeguard all your managed devices’ confidence — and brings you larger assent of mind.” The problem is, it’s installing itself but permission and is wreaking massacre on customers’ systems.
