“Pence then flew from Indianapolis to Los Angeles on Sunday, which took about 4 hours and 45 minutes, costing about $142,500,” CNN continued.
The grand sum of Pence’s broadside stunt? A whopping $242,500.
CNN combined that since Pence was “attending a domestic event” in Los Angelos, the Republican National Committee will repay some of the cost of his moody there. The rest yet will tumble on taxpayers.
Apparently, Pence doesn’t see anything wrong with forcing taxpayers to foot the check for his open grandstanding over Americans who are simply sportive their First Amendment rights. He bragged about walking out on Twitter shortly after leaving the game.
“I left today’s Colts diversion since
@POTUS and we will not enhance any eventuality that disrespects the soldiers, the Flag, or the National Anthem,” Pence tweeted. “At a time when so many Americans are moving the republic with their courage, resolve, and resilience, now, some-more than ever, we should convene around the Flag and all that unites us. While everybody is entitled to their own opinions, we don’t consider it’s too much to ask NFL players to honour the Flag and the National Anthem. I mount with @POTUS Trump, we mount with the soldiers, and we will always mount for the Flag and the National Anthem.”
Trump then tweeted that he was “proud” of Pence for walking out and certified that the attempt had been designed forward of time.
“The outing by @VP Pence was prolonged planned,” Trump confessed on Twitter. “He is receiving good regard for leaving diversion after the players showed such disregard for country!”
Neither Trump nor Pence seems to consider anything of spending almost a entertain of a million dollars to denote their exasperation with Americans sportive their inherent rights.
