Move Over Leni Robredo: Rodrigo Duterte Lands On The Cover Of GQ Magazine

DE0AEBB0-4839-447B-881B-09555B239E10.jpegMANILA, Philippines (The Adobo Chronicles, Manila Bureau) – Forget the magazine covers that featured Vice President Leni Robredo. Those were so yesterday.

Today, the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) announced that President Rodrigo Duterte has landed on the cover of the general conform magazine, GQ.  And it has zero to do with his fight on drugs or Martial Law in Mindanao.  Rather it is about his unconventional conform clarity — from rolled up Barong Tagalog sleeves to sockless boots to  loosened neckties.

GQ’s New Year’s issue facilities Duterte on the cover, donning a dim coupler with station collar, looking clean-cut nonetheless still presidential.

Duterte’s recognition and capitulation rating just went up 10 points in this last quarter. The repository cover could strike up his numbers by another 10 points in the next SWS survey.  Or the general Gallup check for that matter.

Donald Trump must be feeling so uncertain right now.
