LAPD officer charged with sexually abusing teen pleads not guilty

CALIFORNIA -- LAPD Homicide detectives are questioning a sharpened that left a man in his 30s dead.

A Los Angeles police officer pled not guilty Monday to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.

Robert Cain was charged with two depends any of verbal climax of a person under the age of 16, licentious acts on a child and wrong passionate intercourse.


Officials contend Cain befriended the girl who was a Los Angeles police cadet, the prosecutor said. On Jun 14, Cain is accused of sexually assaulting the girl during 3 apart incidents at 3 opposite locations.

Cain reportedly took the victim, aged 15, to Six Flags Magic Mountain on the day of the purported passionate assaults.

If convicted as charged, Cain faces a probable limit judgment of 7 years and eight months in state prison.
