LOS ANGELES — A span of insurance agents are approaching to be arraigned currently on mixed transgression charges in the purported burglary of some-more than $1.1 million from an aged client.
Clement Lancelot Chichester and his wife, Brittney Jade Sias, also famous as Rosalie Sias, were charged.
The Marina del Rey couple are charged with one count of burglary from an elder, one count of forgery for open record and two depends of forgery by flitting a fake document. Chichester also is charged with two depends of flitting a non-sufficient supports check surpassing $950 and 22 depends of wrong matter or repudiation of element fact in sale of securities.
The charges embody special allegations of rascal and piracy and holding of property.
Chichester was the 91-year-old victim’s longtime insurance agent and financial adviser. Sias assisted Chichester in the business, which operated out of a West Los Angeles office, Ransom said.
Chichester allegedly invested the victim’s income in bonds but making legally compulsory element disclosures about the investments, costing the victim $693,000.
Furthermore, he purchased his client’s Culver City let skill for half of its $1 million marketplace value, and then allegedly wrote bad checks to compensate for the seductiveness on the debt and a loan supposing by the victim, the prosecutor said. Chichester still owes the victim $450,000 for the property.
Sias allegedly filed a fake reconveyance request for the skill with an insurance company and the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, the prosecutor said.
The prosecutor has requested bail be set at $1.45 million for Chichester and $450,000 for Sias. If convicted as charged, Chichester faces up to 35 years and 4 months in state prison, while Sias could be condemned to a limit of 9 years and 4 months in prison.
