SEATTLE — Police arrested a 24-year-old man in North Seattle this morning after he pennyless into a home and pounded a foreigner with a pickaxe.
Around 3:30 a.m. Dec 23, the proprietor of a home in the 13500 retard of 16th Ave NE was defunct in bed when the think walked into his room and hit him in the stomach with a pickaxe.
The victim grabbed the axe, bit the suspect, dragged him out of the room and shouted for his son to call 911.
The victim and his son then pinned the think to the belligerent until police arrived.
The victim sustained several tiny puncture wounds during the occurrence and was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police trust the suspect, who does not know the victim, entered the home by an unbarred door.
Officers booked the 24-year-old into the King County Jail and are investigating.
