HAMPTON, VA — The Hampton Police Division have arrested a 17-year-old Hampton male in tie with an attack on an officer.
On Dec 22, 2017, at 4:24 p.m., a Hampton Police officer on slight unit in the area of Kecoughtan Road and Regent Street was questioning a probable desolation to car complaint.
Two concerned people were forked out to the officer by the complainant. The officer then attempted to pronounce with both subjects to serve examine the matter. While attempting to pronounce with the subjects the think charged and began physically assaulting the officer. The think punched the officer, took her to the ground, and began slamming her conduct against the concrete. The officer was means to benefit control of the think as backup officers arrived on stage and assisted in holding the think into custody. The officer sustained non-life melancholy injuries as a outcome of the incident. There were no other injuries reported as a outcome of this incident.
