FBI Arrests Violent Commercial Robbery Crew Targeting Asian Businesses

ATLANTA—David J. LeValley, Special Agent in Charge (SAC), FBI Atlanta Field Office, announces the following arrests of people believed to be obliged for a new series of aroused blurb robberies around metro Atlanta targeting Asian owned/operated businesses/salons.

Tabyron Rashad Smith, age 22, of Atlanta was arrested by FBI Agents and Task Force Officers of the FBI led Atlanta Metro Major Offender (AMMO) Task Force yesterday, Nov 21, 2017, at a family chateau in Fairburn, Georgia but incident.

Davrion Sanchez Ware, age 22, of Atlanta, was arrested by the FBI led Atlanta Metro Major Offender (AMMO) Task Force today, Nov 22, 2017, at a Stone Mountain, Georgia chateau but incident.

Both Smith and Ware are charged with helping and aiding one another to dedicate defilement of Title 18 USC 1951, Interference with Commerce by Threats or Violence; Title 18 USC 924(c), Possession of a Firearm during and in Relation to a Crime of Violence.

Smith was afforded an initial coming in front of a U.S. justice judge in Atlanta, Georgia yesterday afternoon and Ware will be afforded an initial coming in sovereign justice this afternoon.

Between the dates of Oct 7, 2017 and Nov 8, 2017, mixed armed robberies targeting Asian business owners have taken place in the Atlanta-Metropolitan area. The robberies all seem to have been committed by black males, approximately 5’08” – 6’00”, with skinny builds, in their late teens to mid-twenties. In several of the robberies, the robbers wear the same clothing. The robberies are described in serve fact below:

On Oct 7, 2017, at approximately 1:12 a.m., an armed spoliation occurred at Spring Spa, located at 1996 Manchester Street NE, Atlanta, Georgia. Two black males entered the business and acted like customers. The men requested massages. The men then brandished handguns and demanded that the employee open the doorway to the office. The employee fled, but the robbers were means to benefit entrance to the bureau and ransacked it. Another employee told the men that she had called the police. Both men then fled the business and got into a red four-door car that was driven by a third black male. Ultimately the two robbers stole a purse with essence and a mobile telephone.

On Oct 10, 2017, at approximately 10:12 p.m., an armed spoliation occurred at Cedar Massage, located at 6035 Bakers Ferry Road, Atlanta, Georgia. Two black males entered the business brandishing handguns, and demanded income from the employee. While one of the robbers took the income from the cash drawer, the other pirate walked by the business and stole several victims’ purses containing money, mobile phones, and other belongings. The robbers then fled the business. One of the robbers carried his gun in his left palm and wore what seemed to be a bullion watch on his left wrist. His gun was a black semi-automatic handgun.

On Oct 13, 2017, at approximately 11:19 p.m., an armed spoliation occurred at QI Clay Sauna, located at 7130 Buford Highway #A107, Atlanta, Georgia. Two black males entered the business and acted like customers. Minutes later, both men brandished handguns and demanded money. One of the robbers struck an employee twice in the conduct with his handgun. The robbers stole income from the cash register as good as a purse. One of the employees followed the robbers as they left the business. The pirate responded by attack the employee then banishment his gun several times. The robbers fled the area in a red or orange sedan. One of the robbers wore a sweatshirt or coupler with the difference “Dope Sport” printed on the back.

On Oct 20, 2017, at approximately 7:42 p.m., an armed spoliation occurred at Lush Nails and Spa, located at 3529 Northside Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia. Two black males entered the business, brandishing handguns, and demanded income from the employee. The robbers struck the employee as good as a patron who was station nearby the cash register. The robbers took the income from the register then stole a purse from a patron after kicking an employee in the head. The robbers then fled the business.

On Oct 24, 2017, at approximately 11:20 p.m., an armed spoliation occurred at Kochi Maru, located at 5808 Buford Highway, Doraville, Georgia. Two black males entered the business and acted like customers. One of the robbers looked at a menu while the other went to the restroom. When the pirate returned from the restroom, both robbers brandished handguns and demanded income and effects from the employees and customers. One of the robbers took an employee to the cash register and took the income from the register. The other pirate approached a organisation of business seated at a list and stole their purses. The pirate then shot two of the business (shooting any in the leg). The shooter then approached the cash register area and shot an employee in her back as she knelt on the ground. The two robbers then fled the store. The pirate who took the employee to the cash register carried his gun in his left palm and wore a bullion watch on his left wrist. His gun was a black semi-automatic handgun. He also seemed to use a mobile phone while he was inside the business.

On Oct 29, 2017, at approximately 7:53 p.m., an armed spoliation occurred at Palm Beach Tan, located at 2770 Lennox Road, Atlanta, Georgia. One black male entered the business and acted like a patron by observant that he indispensable to get a tan. He then pulled out a handgun, forked it at the employee, and demanded the income from the cash register and the safe. The pirate took the income and fled the store. He got into the newcomer chair of a red 4 doorway sedan being driven by a second person. The pirate wore a black winter shawl and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

On Nov 3, 2017, at approximately 7:00 p.m., an armed spoliation occurred at Royal Massage, located at 3375 Holcomb Bridge Road, Suite G, Norcross, Georgia. Two black males entered the business brandishing handguns, and demanded money. The robbers stole income from the cash register as good as a purse containing cash and personal property. One of the robbers carried his gun in his left hand. One of the robbers wore a sweatshirt or coupler with the difference “Dope Sport” printed on the back. The two robbers then fled the business and entered a dim colored 4 doorway sedan, presumably with a proxy registration, that was being driven by third person.

On Nov 8, 2017, at approximately 8:00 p.m., an armed spoliation occurred at Empress Massage, 1960 Day Drive, Suite 300, Duluth, Georgia. Two black males entered the business and acted like customers. Approximately one notation later, both men brandished handguns and demanded money. The robbers stole income from the cash register as good as a purse containing cash and personal property. The robbers then fled the business.

On Nov 8, 2017, at approximately 8:50 p.m., an armed spoliation occurred at BD Spa and Wellness Massage, 1525 East Park Place Boulevard, Stone Mountain, Georgia. Two black males entered the business and acted like customers. When the employee told the men the business was sealed both men brandished handguns and demanded money. One of the robbers struck a patron in the conduct with his handgun. The robbers stole a wallet from a patron as good as the employee’s mobile telephone. The robbers then fled the business.

On Nov 10, 2017, at approximately 8:52 p.m., an armed spoliation occurred at New You Massage, 710 Holcomb Bridge Road, Unit 206, Roswell, Georgia. Three black males entered the business and acted like customers. One of the men requested a massage. The employee told the man that he would need to compensate first. The 3 men then brandished handguns and demanded money. One of the robbers went by the drawers of the front desk, while the other robbers stole wallets, phones, and purses from employees and customers. The robbers struck several of the employees and a patron in their heads with their handguns. The robbers then exited the business, entered a red four-door sedan, and fled the area.
