DANNEMORA, N.Y. — A former worker at a New York state jail is accused with having passionate hit with an invalid at the same jail where another womanlike employee aided the shun of two murderers.
On Oct 4, 2017, the New York State Police arrested Denise G. Prell, 38, of Peru, New York, for Promoting Prison Contraband 1st degree, a category D felony, Official Misconduct (23 counts), a category A misdemeanor, and Sexual Abuse 3rd degree, a category B misdemeanor.
The detain was the outcome of a rapist review by the New York State Police, New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations, New York State Inspector General’s Office, and the Clinton County District Attorney’s Office. Prell committed the crimes while operative as a municipal employee at the Clinton Correctional Facility. The crimes concerned taboo control with an invalid at the facility.
DOCCS instituted the review after a improvement officer celebrated inapt function between Prell and an inmate. Prell was subsequently terminated.
