President Donald Trump claimed that news anchors desired his televised immigration assembly so much that they sent him letters of congratulation. CNN’s Anderson Cooper motionless to have a giggle at the president’s responsibility and explain how ridiculous his explain was.
“First of all, major acclamation to the United States Postal Service for delivering those letters so fast, so quick it’s almost like it wouldn’t even be humanly possible,” Cooper said. “Quick doubt though, who are these anchors who wrote letters congratulating the boss on one of the biggest meetings they’ve ever witnessed—which is a rarely believable, totally normal thing that would positively happen.”
He wasn’t finished derisive the president’s absurd statement.
“For the record, we didn’t write a letter,” Cooper continued. “Everyone knows, when we wish to do something totally normal, we send the boss one of those big cookies with ‘congratulations on the meeting’ in topping or one of those succulent arrangements filled with cantaloupe, which we privately consider is a just a filler fruit.”
The anchor went on to quote a publisher who, after being cited by the White House as promulgation a congratulatory tweet, pronounced her use of “riveting” to report the assembly would also request to Real Housewives of New York.
Cooper also managed to poke fun at Fox News horde Sean Hannity’s vaping robe and MSNBC horde Lawrence O’Donnell’s barbarous meltdown.
