MICHIGAN — Two Michigan State Police troopers were struck by gunfire as they attempted to offer a aver Wednesday.
WXYZ reported: According to police, the investigator sergeant and guard were executing the aver associated to a col case review in Union Township, nearby Mt. Pleasant.
When troopers announced they were there before going inside, the think pulled out a prolonged gun and started shooting.
They were trying to take cover when the investigator sergeant was shot in the chest and the guard perceived a graze wound to the hand.
The gunman is now in a deadlock with police somewhere on the property.
The condition of the bleeding officers was not immediately known.
